I’m Brice Hagood, a veteran (U.S Army – OEF 11-12/13-14), Traveler, and Entrepreneur. I was born in Atlanta, GA, and spent most of my childhood there before moving to Douglas, GA for the remainder of my teenage life before the military. My father understood the importance of traveling; he wanted his children to be cultured. That’s why he did his best to expose us to as much of the world as possible. Once I could make a dime for myself, I continued the journey. I’ve been to countless countries, made amazing friends, and began unforgettable adventures. After a while, I noticed how many other people have this wanderlust, that’s why I started this blog.

Why The Paradise Seed?

Well, I believe everyone is looking for their little piece of Paradise. It may be in the form of a family two-story house and picket fence or something a bit more rebellious to tradition like a passport full of journeys.

What is Shangri-La?

Shangri-La is a mythical “Paradise”, the location might be a myth, but the destination in the soul is alive and well, it’s up to you to find it.

Want to Start Your Own Blog?

Well, I won’t shy away from the truth. Starting your own blog takes time, money, and determination. Luckily for you fellow comrades, I am making an E-Book on how to start your own blog! Stay tuned for that, in the meantime, the first step is getting your very own domain. I would suggest SiteGround because of their prices and dependability.

Do you have the travel bug? Itching for things to do in Bakersfield or abroad? Ever felt like home maybe somewhere else? Have you had that feeling of complete awe, surrounded by the unknown and with limitless potential for adventure? Well, if you haven’t, don’t you want it? Follow me as I open the doors to adventure. We’ll figure out how to explore the world together while having a hell of a time.

My biggest pet peeve is digging the web for some inspiration for my next journey, only to find nothing but generic tourist traps and crappy E-books. I’m giving you the how-to, how to travel cheaply, how to travel for free, how to get paid to travel, things to do in Bakersfield and anywhere else. I’ve been on the beaten path and found some interesting gems along the way, I’ll share my secrets, mother didn’t teach me to be greedy.

I am a citizen of Earth! My goal is to see everything there is to be seen. Explore this vast planet; see the people I share it with, eat the grub I get my hands on, drink the booze that catches my eye, find those unbeaten trails, and beat them up. I am a tramp, a super tramp. I am an adventurer, veteran (Army OEF 11-13), Fur-Father, Vlogger/Blogger/Entrepreneur. So many titles, let’s just stick with Brice. I’m tired of looking for things to in Bakersfield or abroad just to be disappointed, I know you are too.

Our lives are not as limited as we think they are; the world is a wonderfully weird place; consensual reality is significantly flawed; no institution can be trusted, but love does work; all things are possible, and we all could be happy and fulfilled if we only had the guts to be truly free and the wisdom to shrink our egos and quit taking ourselves so damn seriously.
